Five Things I Want To Buy With The Money I Make From Taking Paid Surveys

what to buy with money from paid surveysBy now you already know that you can make some good money simply by taking paid surveys. Now, what you decide to do with that money is up to you. Some people use it to supplement their income to help provide for their family, some use it to buy cool stuff for themselves. I typically donate all of mine to my church to help the needy individuals and families in my area, but recently decided to taking a month or two of earnings and actually by myself some things I’ve been wanting for awhile.

Here is my list of the top five things I want to buy with the money I make from taking paid surveys in November and possibly December (can’t decide since it’s almost the holidays and there are a lot of people in need).

iPhone 4s

I’ve been an Apple fan for as long as I can remember. I have a Macbook and iPad, but no iPhone. I’ve never taken the dive and gotten one simply because it hasn’t been a phone that my current carrier offers. I think I’m about ready to switch carriers and will need some cash to fund the new phone.

BOB Stroller

My wife and I just recently had our second child and of course, she wants to start exercising to lose the baby weight. She likes to run outside, but we currently only have a single jogging stroller. She would love one of the new BOB double seat strollers, so I think this makes my list.

LoveSac

I’ve always wanted a LoveSac to help fill some of the empty space in our living room. During the holidays they typically have sales, so I might buy one this year.

Nintendo Wii

Now that my oldest son is four, he is starting to like playing video games. The Nintendo Wii is a very family friendly unit and there are a lot of games the he and I can play together. At Costco, they have a bundle that is $149.99 that includes the unit, a few controllers, and a game. I think this would be a worth while investment.

Mini Fridge

Again, now that we have a new baby in the house, someone has to take the night shift and it ain’t my wife. She tends to pump her breast milk in the evening and I get up once a night to feed the baby. I think I want a mini fridge in our room so I don’t have to go all the way down stairs and get the milk to heat up. I can move the bottle warmer into the room as well so it is easy to get the job done.

There are a few others that didn’t make the list, but I think that these are some worth while things to purchase with the money I make from completing paid surveys. What will you buy?

The Skinny On Scarborough Research

scarborough researchHow many of you have ever heard of Scarborough Research? I’ve been in this business for a long time and up until a few weeks ago, I had never heard of them before.

About three weeks ago, my wife got a phone call from a marketing research firm who collects their data via phone interviews and surveys that are sent in the mail. Since we are both busy… and the call came at 10pm when we were just laying down, we asked that they remove us from their calling list. Well, long story short… they didn’t, and in fact, they mailed out a survey to be completed the very next week.

When my wife opened the survey, they offered her $50 to fill out the survey and sent it back. Because I have never heard of the organization before, I thought, what the hell… let’s give it a shot and see if they are legit. My wife took the survey, mailed it back, and six days later got her check. I was very impressed that one, the check came, and two, how fast it came. Scarborough Research is legit!

Now here’s the thing. I don’t know how they got our information or how to get signed up with them to start taking their surveys, but this is something you need to pursue. I will be doing some additional research on their company and if anyone can just sign up. If you would like to help with the research, you can visit their website by clicking here.

Please share any information you have about the company and if you can sign up somewhere in the comments below.

Japan Disaster Relief Campaign

Just three weeks after we donated over $2,000 and have since donated an additional $1,000 to the Red Cross to help the victims of the devastating earth quake and tsunami, we at SurveyInferno.com have decided to organize a disaster relief campaign for those good people.

At Survey Inferno, we have over 50,000 people who work with us on a regular basis to find new opportunities to take paid surveys online. We plan on leveraging our relationships with these individuals to raise money and will also be reaching out to our fellow paid survey website owners to see if they are interested in helping out as well.

We believe that with many, small donations, we can make a huge difference! To donate, you can simply click this link.

May God be with you and with the suffering people of Japan!

We Just Donated $2,000 To The Red Cross (Tsunami Relief for Japan)

One think I really love about MySurvey.com is the fact that they reward me for taking paid surveys with points. With those points, I can get anything I want from Amazon Gift Cards or Cash. I have to admit though, one downside is that my wife wants to always take my points and get Amazon Gift Cards for herself. Not a fan of it when that happens, but whatever.

So, when I logged into my MySurvey.com account last week, I noticed that they gave me an option to give my points to the Red Cross to help with relieve efforts for the Japanese people after the devastating Earthquake and Tsunami that rocked their nation a few weeks back.

My team and I (there are five of us now) decided that we would each donate everything we have in our accounts to the efforts. When it was all said and done, we donated just over $2,000.

We would hope that each of you take the time to consider donating some of your points to the effort. I now that many of our users sign up for MySurvey.com, so if we all band together, I know we can make a difference for the Japanese people.

I Scored My First $50 Survey Last Night

Great news people! I scored my first $50 survey ever! It happened last night and took me almost two hours to complete. It was really long and pretty painful, but I’ll take $25 an hour any day.

99.9% of all of the paid surveys we take are confidential and if the survey company sees that anyone is speaking about it online, you will be kicked out of the survey panel, so I can’t say which company or what the survey was about, but it was pretty pumped when I got it.

It’s been a great year for me and my team so far when it comes to paid surveys. There have been more surveys than we have ever seen and the payouts have been amazingly high! This is why we continue to maintain this site year in and year out to help you, the consumer earn money by sharing your opinions.

As always, you can get started earning money today by clicking here.

Let us know if you have questions.

Thanks,

Steve

Update On MySurvey – Lightspeed Research Merger

So, it’s been about a month since we announced the Lightspeed Research / MySurvey.com merger and so far the outcome seems very promising!!!

What we’ve noticed more than anything is the volume of paid surveys is through the roof. It seems, on average, each of our staff members is averaging about five high paying surveys per day being emailed to them. This is about 50% more than MySurvey used to send out on a regular basis.

We have also noticed that the payouts on these surveys are considerably higher than in the past as well. This is great news for anyone looking to supplement their current income stream or generating their only income stream.

It will be interesting to see what happens as time goes on. As always, we will be following this as will we be following each of the paid survey companies we recommend at SurveyInferno.com.

Lightspeed Consumer Panel Joins Forces With MySurvey.com

mysurvey paid surveysStarting today, the Lightspeed Consumer Panel has joined forces with MySurvey.com to make your overall paid survey taking experience more enjoyable and rewarding.

MySurvey.com and LightspeedPanel.com are owned by the same parent company, The Kantar Group. Even though they are combining forces to bring you an amazing paid survey experience, you will still have all the benefits that each of the panels provided when they ran independently like the following:

  • Share your opinions about the products and services you use every day.
  • Earn Reward Points for taking surveys. Reward Points can be redeemed for e-certificates, gift cards, merchandise, charity donations and much more. Mysurvey.com offers the same reward options as Lightspeedpanel.com.
  • Opportunities to be entered into several MySurvey.com sweepstakes with prizes awarded daily, monthly and quarterly.

At Survey Inferno, we love and trust both of these paid survey companies and are very excited about this “merger”. Take a chance to sign up for the MySurvey.com panel today.

Opinion Outpost Now Owned by Opinionology

opinionology paid surveysWestern Wats, parent company of Opinion Outpost, one of our paid survey companies, has changed their name to Opinionology. Nothing different has changed within the organization, just the name.

Here is what David Haynes, Opinionology’s CEO, has said about the new name and why the change:

A NEW DAY IN SURVEY RESEARCH IS HERE.

I’m pleased to announce the launch of our new company name, Opinionology. This marks a significant milestone in the history of our company. It’s more than just a name change. In every part of our organization, we have improved the way we conduct survey research. From expanding our online panels worldwide to opening a service bureau in Canada to growing our operations in the Philippines, we’ve become more focused than ever on being the best place for researchers to go to gather opinions.

Why we have a new name?

We’ve been operating under the name Western Wats for over 20 years and the decision to change our name to Opinionology was not taken lightly. We’ve worked hard to build a brand that stood for hard work and a gritty determination to get the job done right the first time—every time. We’ve truly become the place our clients can turn to for “Data collection you can trust. Partners you can rely on.” Those aspects of our company will not change, but the name Western Wats no longer adequately describes who we have become. Back when we started, “Western” meant we were located in the Western U.S. and “Wats” stood for W.A.T.S. telephone lines (remember those?). Now we’re a worldwide company with operations and services that span the globe. We also collect more opinions online than via telephone. It’s time for a new name that better reflects who we are and that name is Opinionology.
What this means for you

For most, it will be business as usual. You’ll just hear, “Hello, welcome to Opinionology” when you contact us. But we’ve also used this rebranding as an opportunity to refocus ourselves and renew our commitment to this industry and our clients. Over time, you’ll start to notice some differences, like our “opinionologists” finding smarter methods of doing things or us leading the charge to become more socially responsible in the way we treat respondents to ensure we have a renewable resource for gathering opinions. You’ll see an uncompromising approach to ensure we deliver reliable, actionable data so you can get the deep insights you need. You’ll feel even better served as we implement 24/7 worldwide coverage over your research projects.

Please join me in celebrating how far we’ve grown over the last two decades. We have a strong vision for the future and this event marks the beginning of many great things to come.

Warmest regards,

David Haynes
